I’m using 403 on a new black vehicle. Should I be using an IPA after 403 and before a carnauba-based wax?

Typically, carnauba-based waxes play very well with other products and don’t need to come into direct contact with your clearcoat. So you should be perfectly fine skipping the IPA. However, just keep in mind that some waxes, particularly “speed” waxes, have solvents in them and can damage the acrylics in LVR 403 if they haven’t fully cured.
