Can you apply Poly-Seal on top of LVR 357 Magnum Wax and if so, how long after the application of Magnum Wax should I wait to apply Poly-Seal?

Another great question!

First and foremost, (and I know this wasn’t part of the question but we get this a lot), you’re right in that LVR 357 Magnum Wax should be applied first. The main reason is that in order to achieve the maximum longevity out of Magnum Wax, the vehicle should be panel prepped prior to applying Magnum Wax.

Poly-Seal can absolutely be applied to Magnum Wax! Typically around here, we recommend waiting 6 – 12 hours before applying anything to Magnum Wax. You really want to let those Amino Resins cure for as long as possible. There are external variations that may effect the cure time such as temperatures and humidity. But 6 – 12 hours is a pretty good “rule of thumb”.
